War Eagle attended its first Night Under Fire event at Summit Racing
Equipment Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. The event also marked
a very special and emotional return of Dale Pulde behind the wheel
of his War Eagle Trans Am. Flanked by crew chief Mark Leigh,
longtime partner Valerie Harrell, and a terrific supporting team,
Pulde (who had last run the War Eagle at Norwalk over 25 years ago)
was able to visit with longtime friends and fans who came to see him
from near and far. For those who had followed along with Dale's battle of
Valley Fever the past 10 months, it brought smiles to the throngs of
friends and fans who spent the day reminiscing about Dale's career
